CHAPELS
Ivy Chapel:
- Built in 1890. is a designated City of Denver landmark
- 13th century Ecclesiastical Gothic Architecture, just like Notre Dam in Pari,
- Designed by Denver architect Henry Ten Eyck Wendell
- Seats approximately 70-80 people
Mortuary Chapel:
- Built in 1965 is adjacent to the Fairmount Mortuary & Cemetery offices.
- Newly remolded, this beautiful modern chapel is accented with beautiful wood paneling and padded pews.
- Seats approx 200 with overflow area for larger services
Mausoleum Chapel:
- Inside the Fairmount Mausoleum, on the Chapel floor.
- Built in 1929, opened in 1930. White marble walls and floors, red velvet chairs and couches in chapel.
- Seats approx 50 people.
- Beautiful stain glass window in the chapel of the Mount of the Holy Cross in Morrison Colorado Building itself has Greek Doric columns.
Chapel in the Pines:
- Built in 1941 in English Gothic revival architecture adjacent to Fairmount crematory.
- Large and spacious windows with incredible architecture.
- Seating 60 people
- A mixture the old and the new The Chapel in the Pines also serves as home to our free movie nights.
